Artscape Window Film – The curtain rods have curtains, curtains or valences, and while it is simple enough to acquire a straight curtain rod for a standard window, an arch window, also known as a bay window, is another story. Ideally, the curtain rod for an arch window should have two curves in it that allow the curtain rod to pass a perfect to the wall. Make your own PVC pipe curtain rods, which allow you to assemble the window preparations of your choice to your arched windows.
Measure the walls above the windows themselves, where you want the curtain rod to sit, and subtract two inches from both measurements. Cut one-inch PVC pipe lengths that are equal to the measurements you found in the first step. Connect the pipes together using flexible PVC connections. Although you can also use rigid PVC elbows for this purpose, flexible PVC fittings allow you to have the exact curve you need for your arched windows.
For an extra degree of security, glue the ends of the tubes to the connections using epoxy adhesive. Cover the bar of the mounted curtain with primer spray and let it dry. The amount of time that is late appears on the package. Spray the curtain rod with a primer with black spray paint. When the paint dries, the curtain rod is ready to be used.
