Genie Garage Door Openers – Several cars, teen drivers and frequent family visits are all valid reasons to add a new Genie security driver to your garage door. A Genie garage door allows you to program a new controller at the push of a button, so you can add several garage doors in a short period of time if necessary. When correctly programming the Genie controllers, you can open and close the garage door with the push of a button.
Configurations on a ladder to access your Genie garage door opener installed on the roof of your garage. Push the “Learn” switch, positioned on the left side of the “power head”. Also, press the clock as the “indicator light” that close to the “Learn” switch. It will blink twice per second to let you know it is ready. Press the button on the Genie security controller once within 30 seconds of pressing the “Learn” button on the opener.
Look in the “indicator light” again. It should be a constant light now with no more flashing. Press the button on the safety controller again and the “indicator light” will turn off. This is a signal that the control signal is stored in the garage door memory. Test your safety controller to make sure it is working properly. Repeat these steps for each Genie security controller you want to program.
