Making your own hanging chicken wire basket storage allows you to save money while adding a personal touch to your home, and gives you the freedom to take your baskets any size and shape you want, instead of going to the store in store in search of the right baskets for your garden. Place one square of wire mesh on top of the other. Position it so that the corners of the two pieces do not comply; rather, place the upper square at a 45-degree angle to the lower square so that each corner of the upper piece projects over a flat side of the lower piece.
Fold the corners of the top piece down on the bottom piece, and fold the corners or the bottom piece up on the top piece so that the two pieces are connected together. Fold the wire mesh in the shape of a bowl, working little by little around the basket.
Bend any sharp ends of the wire towards the inside of the basket, using the needle nose pliers. Use the wire cutter to hold the ends that are still too long or exposed. Line the basket with Sphagnum moss and fill it with potting soil. Plant your flowers or other plants in the basket according to the instructions of the garden center.
