Taco Fryer Basket – The taco fryer basket allows you to cook fried foods quality from a home-based restaurant. However, the fryer is small enough to sit discreetly on the kitchen counter when not in use. The fryer is equipped with a ruptured cord that will disconnect if the fryer is dropped or moved away from its original placement. Because the oil gets very hot, the fryer should be placed on a level surface where it can remain undisturbed during the cooking process.
Lift the lid of the fryer and remove the wire basket. Fill the base of the fryer with 2 liters of high-quality cooking oil. Place the lid on the fryer. You can choose from corn, soy, peanut or canola oil for frying. Plug the cord into the appliance and into an electrical outlet. The oil will automatically start to heat. Set the temperature on the front of the machine to the desired temperature for frying. A green light will illuminate when this temperature is reached. Fill the basket with the food to be fried. Do not overfill the basket, as this will keep the food from cooking and browning properly.
Immerse the basket in the hot oil. Put the lid on the appliance. Check the food after the recommended amount of frying time. Use long-handled tongs to separate the food, if necessary. Remove the basket from the fryer and pour the food onto paper towels to drain. Turn the temperature knob to “standby” and unplug the machine from the electrical outlet.
