To repair a chain link fence gates, starting with the tension bands. Remove by holding the mesh in the chain link door by placing a clamp system on the nut to keep it tight and a second pair of clamps on the bolt. Turn the screw counterclockwise until it is loose enough to unscrew and remove the tension band. Repeat this process to remove each tension band on the door. After that, place the final principle of the new link in the coupling chain on one side of the door. Place on the left with tension bands.
Place a tension band around the door frame and insert the coupling of the chain coupling through the tension band. Put the tension bolt and nut band through its slot in the tension band and tighten the nut by hand. Use two pairs of pliers to hold the nut firmly and turn the screw clockwise until it is firm. Fit the mesh to the other side of the fence gate design with tension bands in the same way. Stretch the mesh as possible to fix it. Unravel the vertical mesh chain that is past the tension band to release the mesh from your roll.
Start at the top of the chain and turn to the left with pliers. The filament is turned up and down and disconnected from the mesh roll. Next, loosen the nuts and bolts on the hinges but do not remove. Tighten the nuts and bolts up and down by the same number of turns with tweezers at the top and bottom. Last, place a level on the top of the fence gate door and tighten the hinges until the door is level horizontally and vertically. Hanging doors and doors that do not close well benefit from leveling.
