Dishwasher basket – Have you owned a dishwasher for a long time, you probably don’t think much about how you fill it. It has become a bit like riding a bicycle or brushing your teeth – pure routine. However, changing habits may be worthwhile, because with a few simple rules of thumb, you can be sure to get completely clean service every time. No matter where in the dishwasher you place the different things. It also doesn’t matter how you turn your bowls, plates and your cutlery.
By placing things correctly, you help your dishwasher wash the very best. Glass and cups belong in the upper basket. It may not come as a surprise that they have to turn down, so that water does not accumulate during the washing. Be careful not to put fragile wine glasses close to each other, because then there is a greater risk that they will break.
The big things must be placed in the bottom basket. Give them a seat at the back or all the way to the side so that they do not prevent the detergent from reaching the top basket. Plates must of course be vertical in the machine. Turn them toward the center, and they will be cleaned more efficiently. Also, make sure there is a little air between them where detergent and water can enter.
