Peters Pond – The Frensham pool in Frensham Common and is located in the heart of Surrey’s inland, south of Farnham in the stunning open ground. Frensham Common and the pool are Excellent Natural Beauty areas and Special Scientific Interest Sites. The Frensham pool is located in the heart of Frensham Common comprising Frensham Great Pond and Frensham Little Pond. Frensham Common and Great Pond is leased to Waverley Borough by the National Trust that manages the area. Frensham Little Pond is owned and operated by the National Trust.
The Great Frensham Pool is popular with sailing and fishing but this activity is reserved for the Farnham Angling Society and the Frensham Sailing Club. The Great Pond makes it a beautiful inland beach. In the spring to summer months, the Great Pond is very popular with families and families, sunbathing, enjoying picnics, building sandcastles and swimming in calm waters. Two of the maximum depths of 1.4 meters and 1.2 are indicated by a white float.
Frensham Ponds’s small pool covers an area of almost 136 acres of homeland and open water, which provides a paradise for animals and plants. The Frensham Little Pond is a beautiful place to supply Farnham Castle and a bar-for-brewing plant. Interestingly, both pools were also used in the Great Pond, but you can still enjoy the habitat at Frensham Little Pond and when finished, why not relax at Frensham Pond Pub’s fabulous restaurant.
