Pond Dock – Block Island has everything, swimming, fishing, sweating, restaurants and luxury boutiques, marine facilities, holistic opportunities, clean clear water, amazing views and beautiful sunsets. Champlin’s is the first marina starring, you enter “Ponds” through channels 20 feet to the west, the only access for ships of various sizes. The three marinas are “full service”, Champlin’s is the largest with 225 temporary guest slips with accommodations up to 195 feet, LOA. If you want to entertain children, this is the place to visit. There are playgrounds, video arcades, cinemas, bumper boats and swimming pools. There is also a snack bar that prepares cannolis, pizza, burgers. And diving, a pastry shop serving coffee Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks, ice cream and various donuts, cakes and sandwiches, upscale restaurants with raw bars featuring Cajun.
And American cuisine and two bars tiki, one at the pool side, the other at the end of the main pier, both with live music on weekends and holidays. There is even a small general store with seafloor supplies, food, snacks and basic drinks. Marina on the right is “BoatBasin” with a temporary guest slip with accommodation up to 110 feet, LOA. Pier is concrete floaters. Boats for boating and small beaches. You will find the main office and all department stores with small grocery stores, sea floor equipment and Block Island’s new clothes and things.
